Sandford Estate is a 162 Townhouse development, which was originally a dense forest in the heart of Carrum Downs. Winslow’s works involved building all authority and private services, roads and retaining walls on a difficult foundation of sandy material, surrounded by long-term residents.

Key Achievements

Construction of subgrade and pavements on top of free-draining sand during a wet winter, including strategic deepening of all services in the middle of the road and stabilisation.

Construction of a 70m long, 3m high shotcrete wall along existing residents building line.
